Who pays for the home insurance when you are owner financing it? The seller or the buyer? Also in the state of Texas what insurance companies provide mobile home insurance?

I’m starting a dog care business. To get a quote they require a lot of information which as a start up we don’t have. Does anyone know about how much I will have to pay for insurance? I’m just trying to get a ballpark number for our expenses.
Thanks!

As a Canadian high school teacher, what should happen to my group life insurance when I retire? Am I still covered? Is it worth forking out another $400 a year while I am still young for full-time life insurance, or is my group insurance good enough?

I had a friend who worked in auto insurance for a few months, he said that it is all a myth, which is hard to believe. I live in California, and I wanted to get a nicer car when I’m older but insuance is going to be a killer.

We bought our car 5 years ago in Virginia when it was new and just finished paying off the loan. We paid $23,000. Our Auto insurance premium was based on that value. After 5 years, it is now valued at $10,000 but my insurance agent (Travelers) says the premium does not change just because of depreciation. Is this true?

Say, today is 1st Feb’09. I had an auto policy (from Farmers) that expired on 1st Jan’09. Today, I buy a new policy from a different insurance company(AAA).
When I discontinue service with Farmers, am I bound to show the new insurance policy to them? Also, will I get charged for the period from 1st Jan’09 to 31st Jan’09 by Farmers?

When one has auto insurance alone, insurance companies state that if one is to also get home insurance from the same company, the sum of the two insurances will be less than the original auto insurance alone… Why should insurance companies take less premium for providing more service?

I am a dependant on my mother’s health insurance from her employer. Recently I was sent a mail requesting a proof of enrollment to show that I am indeed a full-time student. I put in a proof of enrollment that I am taking the 12 units in college, plus I also sent a copy of my schedule for this semester.
Today I get a letter saying that my insurance has been terminated and I am no longer eligible because of my age.
I thought full time students who are 21 and under can still be placed as a dependant? Is there a chance they just didnt receive my mail? If thats so, then why didnt they state that they didnt receive the required proof of enrollment instead of terminating me for my age?
I want to call them but they are closed for the weekend, so any advice from you guys so I know what I am saying when im on the phone with them would be helpful.
